GONE CHUNKY Named NASFT Finalist in Two Categories

Binghamton, NY June 27, 2005 - Najla's, Inc. is proud to announce that its Gone Chunky Classic Gone Nuts! Cookie has been selected as a Finalist in the category of Outstanding Cookie or Cracker by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT). In addition, the Najla's Gone Chunky Chocolate Walnut Espresso Cookie Finalist in the category of Outstanding Dessert category.
The NASFT final round of judging will take place during the 51st Annual Fancy Food Show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City (July 10-12, 2005). More than 3000 products from around the world were submitted for consideration by the panel of industry judges.
The GONE CHUNKY™ product line is prepared in small batches using the finest natural ingredients available anywhere, according to owner and CEO Najla Aswad. "We never cut corners and we spare no expense," she states. "I make these cookies just like I do for my family - using certified organic flour, premium butter and eggs, huge chunks of gourmet chocolate, whole nuts and only the purest sugars, spices and natural flavorings.
